ECEC Families,
It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year! I know this comes with great anticipation and you are just as excited to get the school year under way. We are looking forward to having our students back at the ECEC.
My name is Kristin Millet and I am the Preschool Coordinator here at ECEC. I have worked in Early Childhood for over 20 years. I started here as a classroom teacher in 2001 and have been the Preschool Coordinator for the last 5 years. Watching all children learn through play, developing relationships with those children and their families, and being here to help our classroom teachers be the best they can be are just a few of my favorite things about being a part of the ECEC. Feel free to stop in the office at any time to say hello. I look forward to a great year together!
We are hosting a Walk-Through Open House for all registered students and their Big People on Wednesday August 26th, 2026. You can drop by anytime between 9:00 and 10:30 am or between 6:00 and 7:30 pm that evening. You will be able to tour the facility, meet your child’s teachers, and spend a short time in the classroom. Parking is located in the southwest parking lot (across from the baseball fields). Use the crosswalks to access our front doors where you will be directed to your child’s classroom. Parking is not allowed along the front or side of the building. The back lot is reserved for staff and those with designated plates or hang tags.
If you have not provided your child’s Birth Certificate or Immunization Record, please bring these items with you to the Open House. They are required to process your preschool registration. Children MUST have all forms on file in order to start preschool.
School begins Monday August 31st or Tuesday September 1st depending on your class choice.
